To Your Biological Children
Wow, do I love you!
You made my life so wonderfully different, and I became the luckiest Mom in the whole world the day you were born.still remember the first day I met you. That dayIt was full of a kind of love that I thought no other Mommama could possibly feel. You were tiny, mighty, and ready to make us a family full of joy and special memories!
Mom would like to talk with you about an important decision that would help another family have this same feeling. There are families who want so much to hold their own baby the same way I held you, and they need a Mama like me to make sure their baby grows healthy and strong. I did such a good job making YOU healthy and strong, right?
I’d like to help another family have a baby, a family like ours who can’t do it without Mom’s help, well, OUR help. I would definitely be needing your help!
This would not be Mom’s baby, but I would carry it in my tummy just like I carried you. When the baby is ready to be born, the parents would be there so they could hold the baby and start being that little baby’s parents. This is called surrogacy, which is a big word for helping another family have a baby by carrying it for them in my belly.
They wouldn’t be your brother or sister, but you would be their guardian angel while they grow in Mom’s belly. WeI would make sure this baby was healthy and strong, so they could go live with their Mom and Dad after they’re born. The only thing that would change in our lives together would be the size of Mom’s belly!
You are so special and wonderful, and I’m lucky to be your mom. I’d like you to be a part of me making such an important decision, and I’m here to answer any questions you might have.
I love you so much!
Mom
